Whoo first post!

I've started fermenting in a corny keg recently, seemingly to good results (I love the fact that it's a cheap multi-purpose stainless steel vessel), but I've heard it can be discouraged as if the spunding valve outlet gets clogged, it can lead to some "dangerous situations".

Anyone have any experience with said danger, and how to avoid it?

I would think that inspecting it often would be the best thing. I use a spunding valve and I take it apart and clean if I suspect any gunk. Also I use keg lube on the valve part to make sure it doesn't gum up.
