Alright made some supper and figured a nice chicken curry with rice (basmati of course) and buttered peas and I have some thoughts.
I went in sparingly, like yall suggested, and added only 1/4" tsp into a cup of rice. Yall... I couldnt taste shit? I added it during the cooking process, so I figured id just add some of the liquid raw into the rice. Added another quarter TSP and NOW there was something there. I was feeling bold and princely so I decided to bring the total up to a full tsp and NOW its like I've finally been invited to the party everyone else was at.
The flavor, for my tasting, was subtle yet not afraid to coat every piece of rice. Deep inside the new cavern of flavors I found some notes of something floral, kind of like licking a common yellow dandelion in the most pleasant way possible. The sweetness lightly ran its presence across my lips afterwards, tantalizing me to take another bite. So I did the unthinkable.. added msg to take this vanilla CINEMAX softcore bullshit into something that pornhub would be ashamed to host.
Very pleasurable, overall like eating a delicious tea. The flavors integrated with the curry even more, so I whipped up a quarter cup compound butter with a few splashes of the saffron liquid. Dotted my chicken and peas, tasted individually and wow.
This is a whole new pallette of flavors I can work with and im pumped.
(No I won't look it up, cooking is more run like this and I learn stuff. But feel free to let me know your ratios though)
