As a Jags fan, the whole second half of last year going into the post season felt like a strange fever dream.

I'm a Lion's fan and cautiously optimistic. All I can think of is the hype that followed the Browns a couple of seasons ago. The world looked like their oyster, and then Baker was injured and everything went to hell. Same with the Raiders - everything looking good and then a new coach managed to run them into the ground. It's any given Sunday (Monday or Thursday) out there so I'm trying not to get too hyped about this season.
I think the Jags take the Lions this year. Last year was just embarrassing.
Take the Lions as in beat overall record? Preseason? I mean, if it happens in the Super Bowl I won't even be mad ✊
The reg season game last year felt sealed around the time James Houston got that nasty sack on Lawrence. Nasty as in the move he made for the sack itself was incredible, and honestly the result to Lawrence was nasty in a bad way even if the actual tackle/hit was clean. (obligatory: hard to believe we found Houston in the 6th round and he twice the sacks in 5 starts than Thibodeaux all season)
That was the low point of the season for me. I was 100% sure Lawrence was gonna be out for the year after that sack.
As a Packers fan I can't even be mad at the Lions tbh. At least, not yet. And as a UK fan (and fantasy champonship winner off the back of Bortles popping off that one year), we have a weird affinity for the Jags already.
Love a good underdog story!
It’s nice to watch teams turn things around. I’ve been hoping for the lions to do something for years.
I'm a Lions fan and I'm optimistic about the future for the first time in forever. I feel like the team has a strong core and great leaders. Now, they need to stay off of DrafKing...
