Not sure where the right place to post this is, but I've been noticing a bug for a while -- when I click on a direct link to a comment in a chain, regardless of which comment the link goes to, it will only show the last comment in the chain. This is espeically annoying since it means the "Show Context" button when viewing an individual comment does nothing
I'm pretty sure that's the bug 0.18.4 fixes. That and the "more replies" button doing a weird spam of stuff that was already showing. Both seem fixed over on lemmy.world, which is on 0.18.5.
You mean 0.19? 0.19 is very buggy at the moment so it would probably be best to wait on updating for it to be ready.
0.18.4 has the comment context fix I referred to/implied

Ah, yes those would be very much welcomed and needed updates. Well if you have mastodon you could ask Crash there as well @[email protected]. Might be a good idea since it's def important to be up to date on the security and federation patches.

I have a kbin account but sending mastodonny-messagey-thingies does not appear to work there (just redirects me to the front page... another reason to quit and come to Lemmy-land? At least that can't fail here :D ) and I'm not sure what else to do but sortof butt into a conversation or something :-\
Well looking at Lemmy-UI it says BE: 0.18.5 at the bottom so it seems like they might've updated the instance recently.

yeah I would definitely recommend getting a mastodon account (pawb.fun is a good instance run by the same guys as pawb.social) as it's good to have access to both parts of the Fediverse. It's unfortunate Kbin doesn't work right, then we could have something which has both in one, but for now it's best to just have two different ones.
