What makes a look alternative?: Just ask yourself, do you see the day to day average person wearing this? No? Does it catch your eye for being different? Yes? Then it is likely alternative fashion! This category is massive. read my post about this here _*Note: In the context of fashion, the term 'goth' has evolved and may not necessarily reflect the goth subculture (a goth is anyone who listens to goth music). Hey there, Looking for some inspiration for guys getups. Lots of sites like dollskill etc have really limited options for dudes (but that's the case generally).

ohh good point. there are lots of alt men out there, i totally neglected to post them! i'll surely start,

pinterest is a gold mine for male alt fashion looks. thrifting is a staple for goth looks. it doesnt need to be expensive from 'goth' brands.

Might be the first time I've purposely went to that site, vs the usual image search results being all Pinterest stuff haha.

Good thinking for the thrift shop, though I tend to like shiny stuff like PVC, so not a common find.

A lot of guys will happily borrow from the women's section. Gender is more of a guideline really. That said, if you want specifically guy's stuff, I personally get a lot of Punk Rave's gear. If nothing else, it's a great start for getting ideas if you'd rather go the more true to form thrift and match route.

I just like that at least the pants seem to be a thicker material and better pockets. Wish that weren't the case tbh, seems like a scam against women.
