It should be noted that dormi.zone and the Warframe Wiki are run by different teams.
As far as I know, they're considering wiki.gg as an alternative wiki platform. The Soulframe wiki is currently hosted there as a trial run of sorts.

Strike System
We use a 3 strike system. Strikes are given for breaking the Golden Rule, Excessive Trolling Rule, repeated failure to credit artwork, or for continued spam after a warning. Upon the third strike, the offending user is banned from accessing dormi.zone.
Extreme offenses, including but not limited to wishing death on another user or extreme bigotry will result in an instant permanent ban from dormi.zone.

The following rules apply to users registered on dormi.zone, as well as users from instances federated with dormi.zone who interact with our users and communities.
Posts, Comments & Private Messages
These rules apply to posts and comments within dormi.zone communities, as well as private messages that include users registered on dormi.zone.
Golden Rule
Do not be rude, condescending, hateful, or discriminatory.
Excessive Trolling Rule
Do not intentionally mislead or antagonize others or act contrarian.
Prohibited Content
Do not post any of the following:
- pornographic content.
- sexual or suggestive content involving minors or individuals appearing as such.
- content that encourages or incites (real-life) violence.
- content that conducts or encourages threats, harassment or bullying
- another person's personal or confidential information
- content that impersonates another person in a misleading or deceptive manner
Violating this rule will result in an instant ban from dormi.zone.
Ban Evasion Rule
Do not create an account to evade punishment or avoid restrictions.
Posts & Comments
These rules apply to posts and comments within dormi.zone communities.
Accusation Rule
You may only accuse another person's or organization's integrity, business practices, etc. if you have sufficient evidence.
Begging Rule
Do not beg for in-game items.
Link Obfuscation Rule
Do not obfuscate links using link shorteners like bit.ly.
Naming Rule
You must obscure other person's names or usernames in your posts and comments.
Real World Controversy
Do not introduce politics or other real-world controvery in your posts and comments.
Spoiler Formatting
When the sidebar of a community states that "Spoiler Formatting" is being enforced, the following rules apply for posts that involve lore/story spoilers:
- You must begin the title of your spoiler post with "[Spoiler]" and not include the actual spoiler in the title.
- Comments containing spoilers outside of spoiler posts must be formatted as a spoiler block, see here.
Posts only
These rules apply only to posts within dormi.zone communities.
Context Rule
Posts with vague or no context or with little-to-no information are removed.
Expired Event Rule
Event posts are removed after the event (alert, invasion, etc.) is over.
Fluff Post Quality Rule
Meme posts must be 100% (or very close to it) Warframe content, even if it's modelled after an existing meme template.
Help Desk Rule
Posts that involve issues with your Warframe account are removed and referred to the official Warframe support desk.
Relevance Rule
Posts that are not directly related to the community they're posted in are removed. A clever title or text placed over an image are not enough.
Creative Content Rule
You must limit posts of your own creative content (Captura,art, videos, etc.) to twice a calendar week, starting on Sunday, with at least 24 hours in between.
Trading Rule
Posts that offer trades or exchanges of any kind are removed.
Recruitment Rule
Squad recruitment posts are removed and redirected to the pinned Squad Recruitment post.

MODERATORS
As others have mentioned, the Wiki and the Reddit teams are different people, so what happens in one place doesn't have much bearing in the other.
And yeah, we're trying out wiki.gg with the Soulframe wiki right now. A bit hard when the game isn't even released yet though. You can read more on it here.
Moving the Warframe Wiki to wiki.gg wouldn't be crazy difficult, but there are issues that give us pause. We know Fandom isn't everyone's favorite though. And while it'd be nice if DE hosted the Wiki for us, it's unlikely to happen afaik.
That said, unbeknownst to us, DE decided to reach out to Fandom and enter the Wiki into their community partnership program, which essentially just tells everyone that the Warframe Fandom Wiki is the official wiki recognized by DE. We even get a little verified badge at the top. To quote:
- "Official Wikis are verified as the preferred player-reference destination by the publisher and are promoted to the player community as such. Fandom occasionally receives unique opportunities from our official wiki partners (DE), such as the Prime Access Codes provided here. Official Wiki partners may also offer assets and access around game updates/releases that can then be passed through to wiki admins and editors (this already happens)."
I'm honestly not sure, but I don't think this should make it any harder to move. Even so, the Wiki won't be migrating anytime soon, sorry.
Satisfactory just moved from fandom to wiki.gg, with the devs' blessing, so I don't think the "official wiki" thing would be an issue (as long as DE is on board). The main issue now for them seems to be SEO, and that would be the main issue for the WF wiki too.
Woah, nice of you to directly replied here. I thank you and the crew for the amazing wiki (if I'm not wrong that you're one of the wiki peps). I'm not up-to-date with what happened behind the scene so you and other people clarifying it is very nice to see. Keep up the good work!
It's worth mentioning that the poe fandom wiki still ranks higher on Google for most queries than poewiki.net, even though the fandom wiki is an unmaintained ad riddled mess. The new developer supported wiki is nice, but since fandom refuse to take down the old wiki there's a lot of outdated info that ranks highly in search results.
I've seen the wiki admins talk about this a few times.
They were testing the waters for a potential migration from fandom to wiki.gg with the Soulframe wiki, but they are very hesitant to move the warframe wiki unless DE hosts it, iirc.
I forgot about poe wiki being hosted by the devs. Fair enough I guess, migrating that massive of a contents is no easy feat. I wish DE can see how it'll benefit the community like GGG does.
with how needful WF is of wiki use I'd love to see one hosted by DE itself and while Im wishing an in game way to access it as I think EVE online provides iirc. Because while I have the luxury of a multi monitor set up and so run wiki on one WF on another when Im chasing something particular, I know not everyone especially console tenno have that luxury.
It's a wiki: user-made content. If you want to do it, go right ahead and do it. Nobody's stopping you. That being said, the people who have worked on it thus far have put a lot of work into making it function at Fandom. Getting the same functionality elsewhere would take a lot of work.
That shouldn't be difficult, they use MediaWiki (with a bunch of extensions, so it's a little more complicated than just installing MediaWiki, but it could be done).
Paying for the hosting, convincing the wiki maintainers to come over, convincing the community to use yours are the difficult parts.
Yeah I was recently part of the migration for the Star Trek Online wiki (going from sto.fandom.com -> stowiki.net).
We were lucky and had all of the active administrators come along with us, but there's still a handful of people editing the old wiki (not really a huge issue, tbh) but for us, the biggest issue is a SEO one - FANDOM's SEO machine is far, far, far better than any independent wiki can be.
Will also throw in and say I wouldn't expect host costs to be an issue: For our wiki the costs are about $50 a month, and via community donations we make $141 a month. Warframe is a significantly bigger game, so I don't think the host costs would be a problem.
I think the most annoying part of the migration was cleaning out all of FANDOM's proprietary gunk from our templates and such, though I don't think the Warframe wiki uses a ton of that stuff (e.g we used the FANDOM extension TippingOver for item tooltips, while the WF wiki uses a custom Lua script it'd seem).
I haven't been on the Poe wiki in years so this might be how that works as well, but the ideal solution would be to have something like the runescape wiki which has the developer shoulder the operating costs (they are currently looking into implementing ads, but that is to cover wiki staff salaries).
After getting used to it it's really hard to go back to warframe wiki again (although with some heavy use of custom ublock rules it's at least useable), but migrating it over was a monumental effort to the best of my knowledge.
I feel like DE would have to be the ones to make the first move here though.
