Hello lemmy. I have one or two lights for every functional use case in my personal life, and then some. No more lights for me unless something breaks.

I've learned that the collections are never complete. Looks good though

I waited over a year before finally buying the LT1. Needed it for co-op electrical work after sundown. I believe I have the willpower to not buy anything else just because I can.

I don't see any long distance throw lights in the mix?

The Acebeam Defender P16 (third from the right) is my thrower.

You keep telling yourself that. 😉

Left to right:

  • Manker EO211 (red) neutral white, my EDC, very small, great for indoor usage, originally purchased for stargazing because the lowest setting is 0.1 LM
  • Manker EO211 (sand) cool white, used to be my EDC but NW > CW, now it is my bed light
  • Zebra Light H600c Mk IV, great outdoor flooder, primary headlamp choice, modified to have magnetic tailcap
  • Emisar D4V2 (sand) neutral white, my second purchase, a hobbyist Anduril, my brightest, used to light up outdoor gatherings, mainly lives with my bike's FAK
  • Noctigon KR4 (dark grey, looks dark blue to me) neutral white, first purchase, more Anduril hobbyism, tritium vial in the tail cap slot, lives clipped to my car's FAK
  • Wurkkos HD20, my EDC when I need a fast charging battery bank, my headlamp for cycling because of the dual flood and throw. I play a lot of POGO so this competes with my red Manker for EDC quite a bit, especially on vacations. Like the D4V2 and KR4, it can also double as a handwarmer in particularly cold conditions.
  • Acebeam Defender P16 (grey), my thrower for bike handlebars, hiking, and camping
  • Convoy S2+ UV light (violet of course), useful for all the reasons ultraviolet is useful, such as setting the glue for the trit vial in the KR4, finding pretty rocks and scorpions, and finding how disgusting and stained everything is
  • BLF LT1 (orange) latest addition, the true lantern! Finally I can stop hanging my D4V2 from precarious places to light a room. Expected to be used for camping, great for when I spend four hours in my kitchen trying to figure out a mess of wiring behind the light switches

All use 18650s except the Mankers (rechargeable AAA) and the Wurkkos which can, but came with a 21700 and has a USB-C port on it so I don't need to open it up to charge anyway.

I bring a bunch any time I go biking or hiking with friends after sundown. I bring all when I go camping. The UV comes with on vacation because I seek harmful knowledge. All of the right angles are headlamp strap friendly, and I have plenty of headlamp straps.

I'm curious what they are all for. That's a lot of lights.
