If you're interested in the Bible, you would be better served by just about any other translation, the NWT is notoriously terrible. It was deceptively edited by Jehovah's Witnesses to push their heretical theology, it's a deliberately flawed translation.
Should I use one translated by a king instead? They're all translated at some point. You just decided that yours is a better translation so you can shit on other people. Typical fucking christian.
Most of them are okay. KJV is pretty bad too as far as translations go, but not nearly as malicious as NWT. For the most part, any regularly available translation will get the job done, there's just a handful of ones that are deliberately or notoriously terrible, and NWT is right up there at the top of that list.
Which one is your favourite translation?
The Contemporary English Version or the Revised Standard Version are both pretty decent.
