Not a place for gamer gate talk or other reactionary behavior. TERFs and incels get the wall.

One of their games, China: Mao's Legacy is only HKD15 (less than 2 Euros) on Steam at the moment.

It looks like a political simulator playing as Hua Guofeng with a lot of historical narrative events that give you the option to deviate from what Hua actually did.

Obviously that kind of gaming experience will vary greatly depending on the ideology of its writers, so I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with them.

I really really liked Crisis in the Kremlin. It teached me a lot about the political figures of USSR in the 80's. I found it pretty hard at the beginning until I got used to all of the settings of the game. And completely loved the game's soundtrack

I found their UI/UX difficult to learn and so I gave up

I saw a few user reviews on the steam page saying the same

Worth a try to see if you can swing it. I ended up refunding them since I couldn't make sense of each and am too lazy to put in the work to do versus doing other things

I briefly played China: Mao's Legacy. The UI design is awful and the game doesn't a good job at explaining the mechanics to you. But once you figure things out it can be addictive. I don't remember much of the story but I remember the game giving you a lot of choices for events. I haven't played any of their other games but they all look pretty similar in terms of gameplay.
