I’ll say it: I enjoy Dan Brown books. Digital Fortress and Da Vinci Code were my favs. It’s like the junk food of books to me. I know what to expect and that I’ll enjoy them.
I haven't read any Dan Brown, but there's something so comforting about reading a new story you know you will enjoy!
For problematic books, Travels With My Aunt by Graham Greene. Absolutely love this book, and the writing is excellent of course, but I think ethnicity is handled in a problematic way, and the ahem inter-generational marriage at the end is just 🤔😬😱.
