About 2000 for the Brompton and about 200 for the bag.
Then some 30 or so for some nicer grips.
Might get another bag and/or a helmet with a visor soon but we'll see.
A place on the fediverse to share and discuss about commuting by bicycle

My husband bought one of these when it was on Kickstarter for ~$1600, plus $300 for shipping.
My current non-electric was $300 refurbished. My pannier bag is $70, and I've got a trailer for when I'm taking my kid places that was $200 used (and $1000 new!).
It's hard to tell since it's a parts bin bike. I like to tinker, and have a habit of buying a different used frame every few years and swapping the parts over. The frameset and wheels are from Craigslist. I bought the shifters, crankset, and pedals new but they've been with me for many years. Most other stuff is used from eBay. All told, I would guess about $1,000 USD?
I spent $5k. I ride a boutique gravel bike on rival axs. My work has a locked door to store bikes, and I lock it up in there as well.
I use it for more than commutes, but commute on it to avoid having to have another bike lying around
200€ for Decathlon Elops Speed 500, and another 100-ish for the lock, front rack, fender, lights. But now I can keep my bike inside the office, so I just ride my gravel bike.
