What are your thoughts on the potential of having Hard Knocks involuntarily thrust upon the Jets? The only season of Hard Knocks I have ever watched was the last time Jets were featured. And it was fun seeing Rex Ryan behind the scenes (who can forget, “Let’s go eat a goddamn snack!”?), and Revis returning from his holdout.

But I think this year we could really do without any distraction…

Tbh I really don't understand the distraction argument. They were already going to be one of the most m3dia covered teams in the league no matter what and they already have cameras on them the entire time they're at the facility for the 1JD productions. Also the Jets are the most successful team to ever be on hard knocks making it to the AFC championship last time. I really really doubt that if the season ends up falling short it will because we were on hard knocks back in August.

I agree with this. Most teams say that Hard Knocks is really not a distraction and some teams even started doing their own. I think the bigger issue is making sure the public doesn't get swept up in any media driven story lines that are really a big nothing burger. Hard Knocks or not I think the team is prepared for a lot of media drama either way. The best thing we can do is just let the team do their thing and hope for the best.

Those are valid points.

I think that Hard Knocks is complicated because to be honest, I don't think Rodgers will be the QB of focus. There's a lot of drama to be had by focusing on how Zach is doing in practice, since Hard Knocks has no obligation to only show the good like 1JD and the Jets' social media team do.

True. Might also be a good chance for Zach to show the fan base that he’s trying to learn from Rodgers and improve a bit.

Yeah. It seems like he ended OTAs on a high note so hopefully that carries into training camp. That would be fun to watch.

I wouldnt mind it. I don’t buy the distraction argument either.

I would love to get more behind the scenes footage of this team.
