A place for gardening and plant pics

Does anyone use a flower garden planning app or website that they like? Is there anything available that is free? I'm very new to gardening and it would be so helpful. I'm still figuring out when different flowers bloom and how tall they get. I would like to be more deliberate in my planting decisions, rather than my current trial and error approach.

I do not but I'm also curious!

I hear the "growveg.com" Garden Planner is decent, but requires a subscription. I've personally started developing an open source garden planner, as I'd like a companion plant planner/compendium, but it's still in the very-early mostly-conceptual stages.

I use planter on android. You get to male one bed for free. It will show you the recommended square footage and which plants will play nice with each other

Commenting to try and bump this. I would LOVE a website / app to be able to plan my garden with. Being able to make notes would be a bonus too.

I use Excel and all my notes from the years. But I would love to have/create a community site/app like Wikipedia for all to add notes and information and have the ability to utilize. It’s a giant project and I’m a basic developer so if you know any devs that garden, have them reach out to me or post on here and maybe we can get something started. :)
