Any possibility of splitting the Sports community into Sports News and Sports Pursuits? (beehaw.org)

I'm putting this in it's own thread because it's not so much a community request as a usage mismatch.

Sports fans love to discuss games, see links to coverage, or find out about transfers etc. People who do sports are often wanting to discuss their own experiences or find help and support.

This feels to me like two very different needs which, when bundled together, deter engagement.

What are your thoughts?
