After this last winter, over on the northwest corridor, Hwy 13 had so many die offs due to the heavy snow. Seeing this article is also no surprise since the hunting and guiding business is just booming. The tags are more difficult to come by and many in the hospitality businesses are coming to terms that the hunting season will have to look different real soon.

Well that's a bummer. Any hope for a solution? I was just thinking yesterday how different the wilderness is today than it was when this country was founded. You used to be able to walk into the wilderness and see animals everywhere, find berries, fruits, and vegetables, and easily live off the land. You'd be pretty hard pressed to do the same today. The animal populations are radically thinned, and the natural vegetation doesn't produce much food.
