Alexandrite UI installed for poptalk instance members! (poptalk.scrubbles.tech)

For those few who use poptalk as their primary instance into Lemmy, good news for you, I've just enabled Alexandrite as an alternate UI. The standard one is of course the default, the URL hasn't changed at all. If you prefer, however, to have a bit more flashy of a UI, check it out at apoptalk.scrubbles.tech. (I wanted to make it a.poptalk, but Cloudflare would require me to pay them $10 a month).

I literally just set it up, so I'm sure there will be a hitch or two. If you run into any issues either post them here or DM me.

is 2fa reliable now? in the early days of lemmy one could end up in lockouts when trying to set it up

From what they've said it's gotten better. However I'm waiting for the big 0.19 release to see

It's better because I can instantly see images and even profile pic of a music link to easily know. Good for a lazy lurker like me.

Agreed, I like the format a lot more, it feels much more inviting to me.
