Hectic. Is there any reason it wouldn't be considered the first steam vehicle?

Because the first steam engine was possibly built in China in 1679, don't know if they built a car for it though.

Hell if you go back futher you will find the Ancient Greeks invented a steam engine, it is a complex piece of history.
