“Star point guard Kyrie Irving is expected to meet with the Phoenix Suns along with the Dallas Mavericks and possibly other teams when NBA free agency begins…”

Probably just a leverage play, but it would be hilarious if after the past season’s drama, somehow Kyrie ends up with KD again.

Dude is good but what's he showing these last few years that makes him worth the inevitable circus

Yeah I don’t see KD being ok with that.

Phoenix already has two guards with max contracts who play questionable defense, plus KD and Ayton's contracts. (Edit: and that's not even mentioning the media circus that Kyrie creates)

Ain't no probably. There is neither reason for Kyrie to talk to the Suns nor reason for the Suns to sign Kyrie short of some serious overhaul. It is either leverage or one of the dumbest rumors I have ever seen.

Which since it's coming from me, means he's actually signing with the Suns and Ishbia's just flipping the middle finger towards the concepts like "cap management" and "team chemistry" to go play Cohen-ball.

KD and Kyrie reuniting would unironically be the hardest road. If those two got it together and won a chip, it would be the stuff of legend. Of course, dumpster fire is way, way more likely.

Hah, is he planning on trying to run this team (to the ground) too? Maybe he's looking for an office job with the Suns?
