I can’t believe this is a thing. China pumps out chemicals like nobody’s business.
DEA is to blame we have the capability to produce
DEA is so useless that massively needs an overhaul.
I had to switch to Azstarys two months ago because literally all the pharmacies in and around my city have my usual generic Concerta on backorder. Looks like the shortage won’t end for a while.
The shortage is still ongoing
At my last appointment my Dr. asked if I wanted to switch back to Adderall since it seems to be more available now and Vyvanse has been spendy. I have other reasons to hold off for a bit, but it was nice to hear that maybe the shortage situation is improving!
Had to go a month without adderall (fuck you april) so my doc switched me to vyvanse. With insurance it was $78 but after the manufacturer coupon it was $0
Oh it is going! I have just stayed on the focalin. It is 1K a month but worth it imo. Cleanest speed i have ever done. Adderall gives me the jitters and heart flutters. Not focalin though.
I’m on Focalin and I had to ride a whole week without it because my pharmacy was out. It’s a local pharmacy and the owner told me they called everywhere and couldn’t find it in time. That and the fact that you can’t get extra in advance and it makes for a really awkward situation.
Bay area, one of my co workers can't get any of her addy, apparently none of the pharmacies stock it right now. Vyvanse seems to be unaffected so far, but my doctor does not expect that to last.
I had to call 4 pharmacies to fill my vyvanse last time. And the pharmacy that had it only had a single months supply left.
So it's starting to be a problem I think
I just talked to me prescriber, and apparently he gets updates from some official source. Apparently an update was sent out about vyvanse having an expected shortage as well. At least I think he said vyvanse, I can't remember exactly.
