Day one I pretty much slept all day. Day 2 I'm just irrationally fucking angry.

What will day 3 bring?

I appreciate your real perspective of adjusting to pharmaceuticals. It's a certain special hell. That being said, I hope you have better days soon.

Up until the one month mark or so it just made me a very, very hungry, semi-conscious zombie. Then I got hit with the restless legs that was intense enough to make me have panic attacks and feel like I needed to peel my skin off to make it stop.

And then it got better? I hope?

No. It didn’t show any signs of improving for me by 2 months so I threw in the towel.

I hope things improve for you, though and that any side effects dissipate quickly. It was the only antipsychotic I tried that actually helped me find a little stability in sleep, mood and being able to eat without forcing myself.

Gotta love that new med clusterfuck. My first couple weeks of lurasidone were like that, but it did settle down pretty well after the initial chaos.

Wishing you luck dude, it's always rough.

I've been on Quetiapine for over three years now, the only thing I can remember was just being pretty tired and zombified for the first week or so, but since then I've had no issues.

I know quite a few people hate this drug but it's a life saver for me because with SSRI's and SNRI's I've either found them useless or the side effects were too horrible to live with.

Best of luck, hope you get feeling better soon.

Out of curiosity what is your dosage? I have only taken it for sleep at 50ml and it’s like a sledgehammer knocking you out. I have read that it is less sedating at higher levels.

50ml. Meeting my doc in 2 weeks to see if dosage needs to be adjusted.
