Heh. I guess technically we are one. lol Invasive species are ones that come over from somewhere else and have a rapidly destructive effect on the local ecosystem.

You can imagine how the dodos went rather rapidly extinct after our species was introduced to their habitat, for the classic example.

This is kind of the fundamental thought behind ecological economics if youre interested. Basically shifting our economic perspective to reflect the reality that our entire social and economic wellbeing is wholly dependent on the environment and its ecology.

I definitely think the social and economic aspects pf permaculture need more emphasis.

Tbh I think a large portion of humanity's current issues come from this over complication. We tripped over ourselves and messed the earth up, and now therea too many people ftmp, to even get back. I think wed be easier fulfilled, with more meaning in our everyday moments. I have tried to do it as much as possible in my own life, but its obviously a struggle.
