A lot was resolved in this episode, it felt like the end of a season - or even the end of a series! But no, it looks like the next episode is taking us full circle back to the beginning, and I imagine setting up the next season.
As cathartic as this episode was, it was also a bit jarring. First with the recap of what happens with Canute afterwards, and then with how starry-eyed everyone is with Thorfinn. Thorfinn deserves the praise, but it felt a bit strange, like everybody fell into the Thorfinn vortex and became Thorfinnized.
