Players are throwing EtH under the bus just as they did Ole, Rangnick, Mourinho and van Gaal. Absolutely pathetic.

Maddening isn't it? My local semi-pro side put more effort in than this lot when things get tough

[–] kameecoding 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

well based on history they know they will outlast the manager and based on how the club was run in the past they are not wrong to think that.

Can't wait for fuck knows who to come in and give McTominay and Maguire a contract extension.

[–] kameecoding 2 points 11 months ago

and for the Glazers to give one to Martial because they like him

I'm gonna be sad when people will call for ten Hag's head instead of these players. Imo we should get behind ten Hag 100% and start calling these players out when they're getting outrun every match by the opposition.

[–] RamesesKnibs 5 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Absolutely agree. Players have proven time and time again they just down tools when they don't like a manager. I don't think he will get the sack, but the shitrags and talkSPORT will all be calling for it

[–] [email protected] 2 points 11 months ago

I don't think anything will happen before Ratcliffe comes in at the minimum

[–] [email protected] 5 points 11 months ago

I think I'm getting to the point where I don't want to talk about Manchester United with anyone except my therapist

I feel so shit for wanting to sack all the managers before EtH, when the constants are everything else and not the manager. Knowing everything I know now, I wish we kept van Gaal. He's the only one that was working towards something with a clear identity, even if it was boring, you could see what he wanted to do. But we were so fickle as fans.

Please if you want to criticise someone, criticise the players. They are the ones constantly letting the manager down, over and over and over again.

I'll never forget the first 30 minutes under Rangnick against Palace, we looked the best I'd seen us in years. Then we just never saw it again, it like they all thought "ooh that was a bit tough lads, let's not bother doing that again"

[–] kameecoding 4 points 11 months ago

Big changes from ETH, similar to previous round, dropped Bruno and Fernandes.

would love to see these changes persist if the team plays better.

I guess on the bright side, I tend to get A LOT of focused time to work on things around the house during the second half of our games. I might just pull myself together by the end of the season if they keep this up.

[–] detinu 4 points 11 months ago

You got this bro, this shitty United team will make us take better care of ourselves.

[–] detinu 3 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

Fuck off, that's a yellow for Hannibal but Joelinton literally stopping an attack is not?

[–] detinu 3 points 11 months ago

Like a hot knife through butter. So fucking easy for them. Our B team is just as bad as our A team.

[–] kameecoding 2 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

well if the "leadership" of the club gets cold feet now and sacks Ten Hag then they might as well put on some clown makeup. It would just expose their incompetence and show they have no idea what they are doing.

at this point our only hope is Ratcliffe coming and clearing house, installing a competent DoF.

you could probably swap Maddison with Mount or Szoboszlai with mount and mount would be praised at the moment for his contribution to those teams while at United he is killing his career

[–] Motecuhzoma 2 points 11 months ago

Useless fucks, our players should be embarrassed

Gonna be so funny if we somehow play really well without Rashford and Bruno, only to see them both back in the starting 11 for game vs Fulham, and lose. Would be peak United and peak ten Hag.

[–] RamesesKnibs 1 points 11 months ago

What I'd give for this now

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Nothing would surprise me anymore

[–] kameecoding 2 points 11 months ago

Garnacho just not ready for being a starter.

[–] detinu 2 points 11 months ago

I'm so upset but that was such a good goal. Perfect placement, fucking hell.

[–] Shade 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Maaan I'm glad i slept through this ! I'm sorry for you all

[–] kameecoding 2 points 11 months ago

I just started working on my laptop during the second half, to at least do something productive

[–] detinu 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I'm just numb at this point. Whatever will happen, will happen. I couldn't care less.

[–] Ryan213 2 points 11 months ago

That's exactly what the players are thinking.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 11 months ago (3 children)

I don't watch a lot of Newcastle. Is this pretty much a full strength team or are they rotated?

[–] Ryan213 3 points 11 months ago

Judging from their UCL game last week, I think this is a weakened lineup.

[–] kameecoding 3 points 11 months ago

rotated + they have a bunch of injuries listen in the BBC article post

[–] detinu 2 points 11 months ago

Heavily rotated from what I can tell. If we go out there's no excuse.

[–] kameecoding 1 points 11 months ago

it's been 20 minutes and it feels like you need to take off Hannibal before he manages collect a second yellow

[–] detinu 1 points 11 months ago

In the news: we're still shit and we're still playing longball

[–] detinu 1 points 11 months ago

I remember our fans singing 'You're not fit to wear the shirt' in Ole's last game. I wish they'd start singing it again...

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

We start strong, and after about 10 minutes the opposition score and we deflate. Then a second goals in near or after halftime.

Hope we break the pattern

[–] RamesesKnibs 1 points 11 months ago

Close enough. Would've liked to have seen the "starting strong" part though

[–] Ryan213 1 points 11 months ago

It's OK guys, AWB is coming back. He'll fix all our problems....

[–] RamesesKnibs 1 points 11 months ago

Sigh, that's me done for tonight. What a disappointment we are

[–] Ryan213 1 points 11 months ago

Can we bring up the entire U18 squad??

[–] detinu 1 points 11 months ago

Fucking Jeolinton walking around like he owns the place. Embarrassing.
