Ryzen 3 4100 will most likely bottleneck the RTX 3060, I would recommend a new-ish generation Ryzen 5

what about a 5500? or is it worth jumping for a 5600 or 5600x

How long are you planning on using this CPU before upgrading?

Chiming in to swap for 5600, drop the 2 case fans, and switch 3060 to 6700 XT or 6650 XT. There's games right now that REQUIRE 6 cores

Slightly worse CPU but it has integrated graphics for encoding like streaming, allowing your GPU to stay allocated to the games.

Additionally bumped you to a 3070 which does bring total to $880, but you can easily find used ones for $300 which would fit within your budget 🙂

Imo the RX 6700XT is fine if you can find that second hand as well. Depending on region 3070's dont go for 300 all that often but 6700's often do
