President Biden on Tuesday defended the now-overturned Roe v. Wade decision that established the constitutional right to abortion, saying that though he is not "big on abortion" because of his Catholic faith, the landmark 1973 decision "got it right."

This is the right way to do religion. Personal beliefs are such, and shouldn’t be forced on others.

This is still frustrating language to use, because basically no one is big on abortion. Essentially nobody wants an abortion. "Hey guys, who feels like going out for abortions? My treat!" It's not a fucking Big Mac or candy or something that is merely seen as an indulgence. It just reinforces the idea that the right wing has been successful at implanting, that abortion is merely an example of modern excess that we feel comfortable judging others for indulging in (one way or the other), rather than a medical procedure that's got nothing to do with anyone outside the person having it and the doctor performing it.
