Ah good memories. That’s where they sent me home (alone, I took the bus home) with a temp cast on a broken tib-fib in three places so they could bill my insurance as a scheduled surgery for the next day vs an emergency surgery immediately after my accident same day. Great job guys!

Ouch. Both in a real pain sense and in the wallet. I hope the bones set correctly, at least.
The surgeon did a great job putting everything back together. I was still on my families insurance at the time, and we hit the out of pocket deductible. I broke it snowboarding, eldora.
Used to live a couple blocks away as a teenager and remember heading the ambulance (and neighbourhood dogs howling after them) every day.
