In other news, water is wet. I'm all for supporting Ukraine, but of course there's money to be made. I've been perplexed, the whole time, that Republicans haven't latched onto this war.

"Defense" manufacturers make more money off of war than peace. And they have lobbyists.

No wonder we have perpetual war.

In this case, I hope they can lobby the new House Speaker to pass continued large packages of aid to Ukraine.
