Anyone else kinda wish for a video instead of that one kinda lame comparison picture?

Digital foundry have a better video, just look for it. Title says PS5 but they also have the max spec PC footage for comparison.

I don't mean this disparagingly against any fans of the but....I really didn't know anyone who loved the first game. I've seen SO much press about the sequel but haven't seen much hype in the comments

Did it have a cult following? Were there lots of people hoping for a sequel?

I loved it, but have never told anyone

I don't know why but that's hilarious lol

Yeah I mean it had good reviews but nothing wild:

I wasn’t really into Alan Wake, but I really enjoyed Control. I wonder if Control got more people into the Remedy universe

Wait holy shit I had no idea that was the same universe lol I really liked that game!

I very much loved the first one. You probably don’t hear too much about it because the game came out 13 years ago as a standalone title.

It hasn’t been in the spotlight for quite some time. The game ended on a huge cliffhanger so I’ve been waiting for over a decade to get this one.

Those were my prime gaming years! I also thought it was a standalone game until last night. Didn't realize Control and Max Payne were part of it

I really loved the first one. Had some really good story telling in my opinion. But I feel like it’s been too long since then, I don’t have much interest in the series now.

The first one was really good…. I didn’t play the sequel or prequel or whatever it was.

Not a huge fan of the gameplay but absolutely loved the atmosphere and mystery of that game.

And the soundtrack was really good, too

Still no idea if this game looks better than RE4 remake which runs on a potato

The REngine is magic. Completely gorgeous and runs smooth as butter.
