Whatever you get, I recommend getting one with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Makes a huge difference in productivity.

Do you need the upgrade right away? If not and you have a decent budget I'd reccomend waiting to the end of the year to grab a Framework 16, with the Framework you'd be able to upgrade the gpu in a couple years while keeping the rest of the hardware.
They've got a good track record so far with their 13inch.
That's what I'm waiting for too. Very excited for it. It'll be fun to upgrade the laptop and use the old mainboard for a server or media pc. And I can just order a notebook without a GPU and then buy one later, when I need it.
Do we know the price of the 16?
I'd expect around 2 grand, plus or minus depending on what you get. Nice thing with it will be being able to get a lower end processor and higher end GPU. Most current gaming laptops bundle the better GPUs with the most expensive processors, something that you don't really need for just gaming.
Definitely go for their DIY edition when it hits though, as generally their prices for memory and storage aren't great.
Another nice thing is not being forced to stretch your budget for the higher end GPU, because of being able to just grab something midrange, then upgrade it in a couple years to midrange again. Spend about the same but over a longer period of time. And mid-range in a couple years will probably be better than high end now. and mid-range now is good enough.
Good tips thank you. Hoping your right on the price. I am really looking forward to it.
Yeah I am really considering this. Gives me time to sell this one. I like what they are doing.
Well. Need some more info. What size screen? Do you want a high refresh rate? What resolution? How portable does it need to be? Preferred storage amount?
I do like high refresh rate and I would like to be able to play AAA games on it when I want to.
Hi there!
what price range are you looking in?
close to $1500 I would like to able to game on it. But I also want something that really feels good to use. I have seen some people write good things about the zephyrus series and the glass feel trackpad.
What games you play?
