As a general rule, we'll probably just have two posts pinned in future, though this could always change. Leaving the Welcome post pinned for now while more users find their way
Would it make sense to talk with the mods on Reddit about a thorough guide to migrate to Lemmy?

So no response yet, they've posted a thread asking the sub what they want to do going forward and mentioned they've had modmails regarding new communities. I've posted a comment linking our community, and will just wait to see what they decide to do

Yeah I had thought about that. I posted in Daily Discussion a few times in the days before the blackout and posted in the Discord too as I didn't wanna step on too many toes. Will definitely consider it :)
