Has anybody had their ear on the ground regarding Lavanille EdT? The blog post says it was planned on being released last month https://www.barristerandmann.com/blogs/our-blog/q3-2023-release-schedule?_pos=6&_sid=2db4f6607&_ss=r

I don't have any info, but can't wait for the edt
I'm really enthusiastic about the idea of community controlled platforms so I prefer to engage here rather than Reddit but am selling some razors over there due to the larger audience. We don't seem to have a community sales thread in this sub though, so which would be the most appropriate thread if I wanted to link that and offer Lemmy users a discount? Maybe the show & tell could be broadened to also including showing what we have on offer? Edit: wound up posting this comment
We had a Bazaar community but decided to close it because of the way Lemmy is set up... It's too easy to copy usernames and engage in scamming. If you want to make a post, just put "This post approved by walden" at the bottom.
We don't have a good setup for this type of thing, so I'd say for now it's a "with permission" type of scenario. Good luck with the sale!
Thanks, that'll do for my purposes anyhow as I only get around to this once or twice a year so we'll probably have something set up by the next time I bother to list something.
Curious what you're referring to re: username spoofing though, that seems concerning. Do you just mean the ability to create [email protected] or something and potentially confuse users that don't understand the federated nature of the platform? Or something sneakier?
That's exactly it! I happen to have [email protected], but I can't stop somebody from signing up for [email protected].
I used Wholly Kaw's Entropy Man today. I love this scent, and think that the label on the soap is cool, but I can't figure out why the soap is called Entropy Man [it's probably too obvious]. Does anyone know how the soap got its name?
I do not know. There's also "Scentropy". Perhaps Sri (I think that's the person behind Wholly Kaw?) likes the word or the idea behind the word.
Maybe the "man" is someone who's unpredictable and disorderly.

I think that's his name. If nobody knows the answer, perhaps I'll just ask him directly.
