Hi,

So I recently found out that Sonos disabled the 'on this device' feature from their android app may 23rd 2023 (https://en.community.sonos.com/product-updates/on-this-device-for-android-controller-no-longer-supported-6882524) and it really screwed me as I'm the type of guy who just has some songs on my phone and plays them from there.

What can I do to get back to streaming songs from my phone to Sonos?

We have some streaming services, but I have quite a bit of songs that are not available on any streaming service.

The line-in and bluetooth options are out of the question.

The NAS server option seems interesting, but also seems to have issues with connectivity and searching and also problems with the old Sonos speaker gens (which I have ofc).

What solutions have you transitioned to? Help!

Wow this is some bs.. Honestly I'm surprised you're searching for workarounds in the first place. I'd be trying to get my money back. What's next? TVs without HDMI/DP so you have to use a streaming service?

I use the Sonos app on iOS, or cast it to the tv which the sound bar is plugged into?

You could potentially purchase an inexpensive Bluetooth receiver and use that on your aux-in connection on the speaker.

As far as I understand line-in can only be used on one speaker. I have 4 speakers in total and I want to be able to play music on either of them.
