Serena Deeb was reportedly backstage at a recent AEW event.

Fightful Select is reporting that Deeb was backstage at Saturday's Collision event at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio. It is said to be the first time she's been spotted backstage over the last year.

Reports surfaced last month that Deeb's absence from AEW was due to her having a "major disagreement" with management. However, Deeb has reportedly told people she's been dealing with a significant injury and that is the reason she has been away from the company. She has also not been performing on independent shows over the last year either.

Deeb appeared at last month's Cauliflower Alley Club banquet to help present the Women's Wrestling Award to Mickie James.

Deeb's last match came one year ago today. She defeated Haley J on an episode of Dark: Elevation at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 18, 2022.
