A while ago, I brought up characters who made up for a lack of training with insane power. This is it's opposite: someone who isn't very strong, but has an incredible amount of skill and practice with their abilities. Let's list some of our favorites.

As time goes on, Ben in Ben 10 starts falling into this. While the Omnitrix has many forms with superhuman physical abilities, if the thing gives him the wrong form, he has to use his head to win. Grey Matter is the best example of this. Early on, Ben hated Grey Matter and thought he was useless due to his small size and lack of strength. However, he's also insanely smart, capable of Macgyvering weapons with nearby tech, and his size lets him get into places nobody else can reach.

Jojo has many characters like this. Joseph doesn't have the insane raw power Jonathan had, nor does he have a strong stand, but makes up for it with creativity and quick thinking. Then, Shigechi's Harvest is one of the best stands in the whole series due to it being able to cover massive areas and swarm enemies in huge waves to compensate for it's lack of power. And the D'arby brothers have no combat abilties whatsoever, yet are still massive obstacles for the Crusaders.

Pokemon has many mons that appear weak on paper, but the right combination of typing, movepool, and abilities makes them incredibly strong. Smeargle has absolutely garbage stats, but is able to run movesets literally no other Pokemon can. Prankster mons such as Sableye and Klefki may not be able to do much direct damage, but are incredibly annoying.

While this is a common thing with Batman, Batman Beyond does it really well. Bruce is much older and frailer than he used to be, but he still has the same mastery of martial arts. Terry, despite the Batsuit enhancing his strength, has to square up to opponents much stronger then him and use his wits. He even takes down an AI possessing his suit using nothing but skills and Bruce's old gadgets.
