I've been in a massive Tintin mood recently and have been revisiting the series and the movies.
God I love Capitan Haddock. Tintin stories are ellevated with him around. His design is so simple yet so iconic. He's character is absolute perfection. A rowdy but experienced seaman who's a walking paradox.
He looks and acts like an idiot but he's actually very experienced and competant cause he keeps up with Tintin. He's loud and rude and talks big but he's loyal and kind. He looks like a hobo but is a millionaire.
And god the way he speaks is the fucking best. His catchpharses are so good and it never gets old.
Tintin is a godly, timeless creation. Also the english localizations is weird. The characters didn't have names that weird that would need english equivalents. Milo, Professor Tournesol and the Dupont & Dupond are way better than the english names.
