I've been liking the demo videos of this thing. It's making me consider the VST instead ๐ . I love the idea of a physical synth but in the end I am always using my DAW anyway, making this a quite expensive midi controller in my case.

The opsix, modwave, and wavestate are great. I dont really get this SE however. Higher voice count but not multitimbral. The modwave is atleast bitimbral (layer, split, and seperately addressable by midi I believe). not sure why I would go for opsix SE over original or vst other than the keybed. Maybe the underlying architecture didnt allow for multitimbral. A shame. I guess its still a great synth if I didnt have an opsix , needed the keybed, and can afford that price. Anyone spot anything else significantly different ?
I love the Opsix's UI. It's one of the best for FM for sure. I don't need the shitty keyboard on the OG, nor the giant one on the SE either. I wish they'd just made a module and sold it for $200 or something.
They could too, there is not much hardware inside these things.
