I get the sense that many people don't like being out in the rain, but I'm wondering what kinds of things people who don't mind the rain do.

I'm particularly looking for outdoor activities, I have managed to find lots of indoor recommendations. But if you've got killer indoor recs, I'd love to hear them too.

I don't mind the rain, but it's mostly indoor activities this time of year.

Books, coffee, fireplaces, bar trivia, OMSI After Dark, that kind of thing.

My favorite thing was volunteer amphibian egg mass surveys. Sime agencies still do them, but I haven't kept up with how to get involved. They usually start in January and go through March maybe into April. A good place to start if you are interested might be the wetlands conservancy on the west side or the city of Gresham on the east side. You go out in wetlands in chest waders looking for frog and salamander eggs, it's great.
