Doing commuting all-year round with my Kona Rove ST. Studded tires on the winter, now almost naked summer setup with Receptors.

I also have the chromoly Rove but in Silver. Love this bike. It is a real workhorse. I changed out the handlebars for Surly TruckStops which gives a slightly more upright riding position. Perfect for riding in town and among traffic. I run WTB Horizon's or Ventures when it is wet.

Damn, that's a sexy bike. What's your bag situation like with no rack? I love the feel of riding my bike when its stripped down and at its lightest point during the summer.

I actually do have a rack and a pannier in daily use. I took them out in anticipation of the coming event, they are just extra weight :)
