Away to Arran for a week with lots of family. Thankfully the weather's looking to be drier than when I checked the long-range forecast a week ago!
I don't think my folks took me when I was a kid, but I've seen photos from when my grandparents took my aunt and I'm going to take the camera they used (an old folding medium format ensign from the '50s). Should be a good time, though the baby hasn't been sleeping well! π¬
Old school camera will make for some good fun, trying to recreate some of those auld photaes :)

I always challenge folk to count how many of the big 5 they encounter when on Arran. Seals, red squirrels, golden eagles, red dear, and otters iirc and I did 4 in one day once the otter proving elusive
Definitely going to try to get up Goatfell! We'll probably make sure to get some of the tasty grub as well.
My dad's been talking about some old trees on the island so that'll be a wee trip out. Going to get some kayaking and a boat trip in hopefully if the weather holds up!

About now. And seen otters in other parts of the country, but would have been great to hit all 5 in 1 day

Yeah the weathers to be good here so it kinda softens it a bit but i wanted heat, a pool, sunbathing!! Not to be!! I'll head down to portpatrick I think for a wee day.
I tried to knit but not very good at it!! I do a bit of cross stich in the winter but I'm not very art/crafty. I'd love to be and I can have ideas but the actual execution is usually shite!!!

Caithness way. Ainly made it oot tae Durness aince afore. Weather luiks dry apart frae the day, so hupefu o sum sichts tae see!
On the way up, nae sure! Maybe Clava cairns, or Beauly Priory, or the falls of Bruar
Could check out Rogue Falls on the way up as well?
