I had no idea that greek nations existed in asia, and certainly not that they would be the last independent greek states for the era.

Greek Buddhists, and then it turns out that Greek artists may have been the first to depict buddha in human form, and the new sect they created became the basis for the buddhism ultimately practiced in China.

Even in that little piece of Greek appendage, they had a global impact. Never had any idea.
