My last jury duty was many years ago, and I don't even remember what jurisdiction it was.

I got a jury duty notice from Travis County. Is this a "one day or one trial" system? Anything to note, like take the bus early rather than try to use a parking garage?

If it’s not a grand jury summons then I believe it will be for a single trial, whatever its duration (if you get selected).

I haven’t done it for a few years but last time I did, the bus driver said the fare was waived for jury duty. I’ve never driven there.

As for this, I think it's a recycled message for when you're selecting what language to use for your feed. Since some people don't specify the language when posting, you might miss on some stuff.

I think you were right to select english for your post.
