Just like the title. Click the button and it reloads the page. Hoping it's something to do with the upgrade.

Create a bugreport on github if you can.

Can someone else confirm this behaviour? It doesn't let you even confirm the delete, just does nothing. PS. Not a troll to get people to delete their accounts. You have to enter you password after clicking delete!

You're just trying to trick me into deleting my account! Nice try, but I'm 3 steps ahead of you!

I deleted OP's account in a show of solidarity. For our freedom and yours!

Are you using a browser? Which one? And desktop or mobile?

I had issues signing up to any Lemmy instance with Firefox mobile but it just worked on Firefox desktop.

I have a workaround solution that worked for me: enter an email address, even a fake one like [email protected], then save the change. Now, erase the address, click on "Delete Account", and the page shouldn't reload because a missing email error (don't have the exact formulation in mind) should be notified. After inputting your password in the new textbox asking for it, don't forget to re-enter the mail address before confirming the deletion.

Did a typo when creating my username, could delete the old one without any difficulty
