Jesus christ, a whopping 500 word article just to say: "players used to be able to earn 666 currency, now the max per season will be 700. we want more!". Is this what passes for game journalism these days?

This is what happens when shitty news org replace writers with freelancers who get paid $10 a article. They're not doing research, they're trying to get clicks and views.

There's still some gaming sites that actually have writers. Whatever this site is ain't it.

I expected more from a website that sounds like it was named after a Sony television model.

I love the fact that diablo is also on steam now. That's kinda hilarious

All the fuckstains who tried to create their own store/launcher have been coming back. Epics store is still running at a massive loss and their own projections (which are probably wrong) show they'll need to operate at a loss for at least another 4 years. The only games most people I know got on epic store were the free ones...

I bought a game on Epic once. It was $20 cheaper than Steam.

Then I use GoG to launch all the games for all my stores so I only use one app.

Epic's free games are making them some revenue. If they ever lock down third-party launchers, though, I'm done with them.

I never saw anything appealing in the battle pass - not that I wanted to pay the company just for the opportunity to work for something. All the emotes were someone struggling with a caged heart and only the already free pajama set looked like clothes someone would actually wear.

My favorite part was to look for other people wearing the comsetics so I could smugly think about how they paid to work for that. If season 2 holds my attention I can't wait to whale watch again.

At this point, it feels like people who buy ActiBlizz games are asking to be screwed, so who can blame the company for following through?

IP nostalgia. Lots of us grew up with those IP.
