I read the wiki article and then went down a depressing rabbit hole learning about Japanese "salary men". I love Wikipedia.

Looks like it inspired the coruscant house in Andor. Similar angles and vibe.

I associate this style with the default-space-station style. See examples below.
I don't know where it really comes from.

I really love built-ins. Is there like... A collection of designs like this with blueprints or models to explain how to build in these styles?
