Ric Flair has revealed that he wants to lace up the boots one more time.

Ric Flair wants to have another last match.

On a recent episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair opened up about his desire to have one more last match in his illustrious career. Flair expressed his regret that Ricky Morton was not his opponent in the final match he had on July 31st, 2022.

I want to wrestle again right now. Isn’t it crazy? I feel like because, Ricky Morton, the guy that I should have chosen for my last match would have been great. Ricky Morton is still wrestling.

Flair spoke passionately about his dedication to training and getting into peak physical condition for his last match, revealing that he would train for three hours a day, five times a week.

I didn’t stop drinking or anything but I was training literally training three hours a day, five days a week in the ring, or I was doing the sled, the ropes. Yeah, I got my bench press up for two and a quarter. I mean, so from being dead to all that was pretty cool.

During the conversation, Ric Flair also named Steve Austin as the greatest of all time.

Ric is going to die in the ring and, at this point, I don't really care. I'm going to feel way worse for whatever poor bastard he convinces to wrestle him because it'll be on his hands, and even worse if it's a class act like Ricky. His last match should've been Shawn, and it was arguably the best sendoff that any wrestler of his caliber could have had. I know I'm probably preaching to the choir here. Why would anyone go along with this?

Every single friend at ringside during that final match (the final one) should get in a plane, go to Ric's house and smack the fuck out of him one by one.

Watching that match was..uncomfortable.

"Uncomfortable" is too kind a word for that match.

I don't think Flair understands what a death match is

Poor guy, he was a hell of a performer back in the day. Too many hits to the head, I saw his appearance on Kill Tony.

I don't want to see it, nobody really does, but wrestlers sometimes talk about how it's hard to quit, especially for old-timers like Ric.

That last match was so bad.. part of me wants another to see how low we can go.

I'm a bad dude.

The only good thing that came outta that last match was the card they built around it. I still think about that four-way Lucha match every now and then...

Oh lord please no Ric, no one wants to see it.

I didn’t stop drinking or anything

Sounds like he hasn’t been watching his diet either. Bad news.

I know it sounds dumb because I don’t want to see the match at all. But if you do it Ric, shave the head, diet, etc.
