As someone with MCU overload, I find it easy to disassociate this show from Marvel, which I think helps. If you removed any Marvel references in the show, it would still be a great time travel sci-fi show with fantastic actors.

I loved the first season. I found I didn't care about anything that was happening in the first episode of season two. It somehow felt they were forcing the whole thing. They wanted it to feel big and important, but gave me no real reason to care. By the end, I just felt, "That was it? Oh. Okay."

I'm not sure how they plan to top the season finale of s1. It seems they should have just left it as a masterpiece. If they actually do manage to make something equivalent, or even better, I'll be incredibly impressed.
