Will the most excellent No Man’s High on that shit non-api service fold into this one, or operate separately on Lemmy?

Well I created this instance and I also run No Man's High on Reddit, so... what would you guys prefer? I can make a NMH Lenny or we can just understand that this main community is also chill and NipNip friendly.

I would first keep everything together until the community has grown a bit.

Bruh! I joined NM High about the time the game was released. You are a national treasure. Thank you!

I think the NMS community has definitely matured and the jokers of old have been shuffled from the deck years ago.

Personally, I think the union should happen and unite as one community to support all interlopers, their factions, bases and Lemmy.

I hope there is a way to somehow mark your historical significance and contributions to Reddit and, more pointed, the NMS Community.

Either way, you are the baddest Kek this side of brightness; stick with the stars, you magnificent bastard, you beautiful Spacecowboy!

Haha I'm just another interloper! I also didn't create No Man's High - that was plasticroyal. I was a moderator there for years, then Reddit admins suspended him. He gave the subreddit to me after that. I offered to give it back to him post-suspension, but he said I could just keep running it.

I personally agree that, especially here on Lemmy with a new start and a community-driven main community, it makes sense to keep things as unified as possible.

Also, something I touched on in the thread about the Glyph Exchange - Lemmy communities don't have specific/exclusive post flairs, unlike subreddits. So most people would depend on the Search function to find old posts, making it actually easier to keep everything in one community vs split across multiple.

Makes me wonder whether I should keep the Galactic Hub stuff in the GH community or post it here too 🤔

But thank you traveler!

What a great story! I would post the GH stuff here, too.

Let's all just agree that nipnip or no we can all enjoy this community. Happy to be here.

Absolutely, No Man's High was always that way too. NipNip-friendly, not NipNip-mandatory.

As a fan of the old nipnip myself, maybe we should all stick together for now rather than fragmenting.

Shout out to No Man's High for being one of the few who stuck with the game since the release date! And for always being a chill community
