I'm looking for a modern open source Chromium build for Android that supports ad-blocking.

The most important features of Chromium are tab groups, which are incredibly useful and convenient, multiple windows and raw performance.

I've been looking at multiple alternatives but I didn't find any open source build of Chromium that is up-to-date and supports ad-blocking.

  • Firefox doesn't have tab groups and its performance is way worse.

  • Brave doesn't block ads on Google Search (which I use every single time I open the browser).

  • Kiwi, Bromite and Ungoogled Chromium are all outdated and don't have tab groups.

In my opinion tab groups is by far the most convenient feature of mobile browsers apart from ad-blocking.
