Is it good? It's on my list anyways, but who knows when I'll get to it without additional motivation :)
Anime
Anime is hand-drawn and computer animation originating from Japan.
Anime; the one thing that gets us closer to each other and brings us together.
All spoilers must be tagged!
The first 8 episodes where really good but only covered ⅓rd of the story. So the anime must have 24 eps ro cover the whole story. If it only has 12 and no season two, it won't be as recommendable. On another note, the game is awesome tho.
The anime added some extra story/lore from stuff outside the game, like (minor game spoilers:)

A2's backstory
If you haven't played the game then I feel like most people would recommend playing it first, though I can't even remember if the anime has spoiled anything beyond the first playthrough in the game.
I am still wondering if they are going to make an anime-unique or extended ending, so I at least am looking forward to the last episodes.
If you are coming from the game then its mostly disappointing. From what I've heard, the production was a mess. animation quality was sub par, due to not giving animators enough time.
Adapting a video game is pretty hard by itself, so with the scheduling issues it tuened out ro be disappointing.
@Awerenj idk. I enjoyed it. I felt it was a pretty faithful adaptation
Maybe i just had very high expectations. I absolutely loved the game and i guess i went in expecting a lot more. They hired some really talented animators, and I think the adaptation deserved to be one of the best animated shows with excellent 3dcg and fight choreography (esp with thw games stunning animation as reference).
I hope they really step up their game for the remaining episodes.
I've played the game and it's been pretty faithful. The animation quality has been really good so far with mixing 3D assets and 2D characters in fights scenes.
I've delayed watching all that has been released though because of the production delays, so if there has been a dip, I have not seen it.
