Li sto usando entrambi, ma confesso che da quando è uscito Boost ho quasi dimenticato Sync. Le gestures personalizzabili mi mancano, su Sync basta uno swipe per upvote/downvote/reply ecc. Insomma niente di vitale, ma comodo.
Uso Sync da 9 anni e faccio fatica a abituarmi a alternative ma boost lo sto provando da ieri e mi sembra veramente molto ben fatto, però secondo me è presto per decidere, io per ora li terrò installati entrambi e vediamo quale avrà uno sviluppo migliore. Il dev di sync al momento sembra molto veloce a implementare le richieste che gli fanno

Personalmente mi stava mandando al manicomio, uno swipe ogni 4 nella sezione dei commenti me lo prendeva come un'azione. Ho trovato l'opzione per disabilitare i gesti solo pochi giorni prima che uscisse Boost, e oramai mi aveva lasciato una brutta impressione praticamente solo per quello lol
Mi ha convinto , e gli ho pagato la quota. 3.69 euro una volta sola è accettabile
Sono entrato su Lemmy a giugno venendo da Boost for Reddit, e all'epoca non c'era ancora né una né l'altra applicazione. Prima di loro ho provato Jerboa (agghiacciante) e Connect (quasi peggio).
L'uscita di Sync è stata un bel sollievo, la trovo piuttosto usabile, però Boost batte tutti come semplicità e pulizia. A Lemmy ora mancano solo gli utenti.
Boost. Ha ancora qualche bug ma prezzo ragionevolissimo e ottima user experience non si battono
